The Side Effects of Zyban
I have
thought long and hard before including this page. However, the consistent
spamming by ZYBAN,
including the use of
Hypnosis as a key word, finally persuaded me to publish the following.
Here I quote from the
Glaxo Wellcome "Zyban" Patient Information Leaflet:
The more COMMON
side effects of Zyban include:
-
Fever, Dry Mouth,
Constipation, Tummy Discomfort or upset, Nausea (feeling of sickness)
and Vomiting
-
Skin Rash or
Itching, including Allergy reactions like Nettle Rash
-
Insomnia, Agitation,
Tremor and Sweating
-
Difficulty
concentrating, Headache, dizziness, feelings of Depression, Anxiety
-
Changes in the taste of
food or drink while you are taking Zyban.
-
These are just the COMMON
side effects. The same leaflet gives the following POSSIBLE side effects:
-
Sudden wheezing and
tightness in the chest
-
Swelling of the Eyelids,
Face, Lips and Tongue or other parts of the Body
-
Skin Lumps, blistering
of the Skin, Skin Rash, Itchiness or Fever
-
Pain in muscles or
joints
-
COLLAPSE!!!!
THERE IS MUCH MORE - ASK YOUR GP OR PHARMACIST FOR A LEAFLET
It is the choice of our UK
National Health Service to prescribe this drug USING PUBLIC MONEY. Certain
members of the same Health Service have been known to deliberately understate
the success of Hypnosis.
Remember, there
are NO
UNPLEASANT
SIDE EFFECTS
WITH HYPNOSIS
and as long as you are
determined to quit, it is highly effective.
With a
claimed success rate in excess of 80%, a visit to a Hypnotherapist is widely
regarded as one of the most successful ways to QUIT SMOKING
